Initial Consutation Visit

Free (If Services are Booked)

We require an initial consultation visit, which is free if services are booked at the time of the consultation. Otherwise, a $20.00 Service Charge applies to consultation visits.

During the consultation visit, I will meet with you and your pet(s), learn about your pet's routine, favorite foods and toys, any medications given, and any other pertinent information. I can test your key, go over the service contract, and answer any questions you may have. During the consultation, I'd like to become acquainted with you and your pets, and make sure we are all comfortable with each other.  I can learn about their personalities, favorite toys to play with, special needs, and your preferred schedule for visits.  I will also go over veterinarian information, health records, and contact information for you, as well as emergency contacts.

Please have a copy of your house key ready to be picked up during the initial consultation visit, if possible.

 

Basic Visit    

$20.00   

This fee is for up to 2 pets per household.  $2.00 for each additional pet, except for pocket pets.  

Our basic service includes a 30 to 45 minute visit with your pet(s), to include feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter box scooping, loving time, belly rubs, and a walk for your dog (if desired).  During the basic visit, I can bring in mail and newspapers, open/close blinds and curtains, water indoor or outdoor plants (limited to 10-12 plants), take trash cans to the street, and fill up bird feeders and bird baths.  No additional charge for medication administration, as for pills or medication placed in food.  I also inclued a detailed daily visit log, and I can E-mail you or send text messages for visit reports, if desired.    

 

Mid-Day Potty Breaks or Dog Walks 

$16.00 for up to 2 dogs  (Weekly Rate), or  $20.00 per day (Daily Rate)

For long days at the office, I can come by and take your dog(s) on a walk, or let them out into the backyard for exercise and a potty break.  Available only in limited service area. Mid-day walks and potty breaks are done between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.  This can be tailored to fit your schedule.

 

3 Visits A Day Vacation Package

$52.00

This package includes a morning visit, mid-day or afternoon visit, and a night visit.  This includes 2 Basic Visits, and a night time visit before bedtime. The night visit can include a short walk for your dog and a bed tuck-in, as well as playtime and loving. The night time visit will last around 20 minutes. 

 

Overnight Stays

$70.00 for up to 2 pets

I will stay in your home from the hours of 9:00 P.M. until 8:00 AM (flexible hours available upon request).  This will provide your pet(s) with additional companionship, and give your home added security.  Dogs love the added attention and companionship an overnight stay can provide.  Yes, they can sleep in the same bed with me--pets welcome!  This will include a bed time tuck-in visit, and feeding and water for a morning visit.

House Sitting

$15.00

This visit includes rotating lights and blinds, bringing in mail, newspapers, and packages, watering indoor plants, bringing trash bins to and from the curb, and first floor windows and door check.  This type of visit does not include pet sitting.  Adds to home security while you are away.

 

Key Pick-Up and Return Fee

$10.00

I can keep your key on file in a private, secure location in a safe.  If you prefer, I can arrange to pick up and return your key for a $10.00 per trip fee.

 

Holiday Fee Schedule

$5.00 per visit 

An extra $5.00 fee will be added for major holidays, to include New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.  This is a per visit charge, on the listed holidays only. 

 

Service Area

The Caring Touch Pet Sitting's service area includes many areas of Raleigh, as well as Wake Forest, Knightdale, and Rolesville.  We service homes in Zip Codes 27604, 27609, 27613, 27614, 27615, 27616, 27545, 27587, and 27571.  We may be able to service homes outside of our usual service area for an additional fee for mileage.
